My first test ride with the pack!
Fast, loose sketching allows me to organize my thoughts and separate the good ideas from the bad.
I decided to construct this hip pack with a boxy bag sewed onto a continuous hip pad. This left the construction process and pattern fairly simple. I laid out the pattern directly on to the fabric, which saved time and allowed for some spontaneous design.
The above pattern is drawn to scale in Illustrator, integrating some of my spontaneous adjustments into the design. Below is a running list of feedback from myself and others, to be applied to the next iteration.
